Arctic Industries Builds Insulated Shelters For Haitian Relief Effort Miami, FL – January 15, 2010

In the aftermath of the recent horrific earthquake in Haiti, our hearts reach out to the survivors who are struggling to find aid and medical care amid rubble-strewn and impassable streets. The country will have a long and treacherous road ahead to rebuild itself, but the very first step that must be taken is ensuring that survivors are rescued and provided with safe, comfortable and secure shelter.

We have performed extensive research and testing on several designs and applications for modular shelters. In our effort to help in the reconstruction and immediate aid to Haiti, Arctic Industries has officially launched the IMS1000 – Insulated Modular Shelter. The IMS1000’s insulated acrylume panels provide strong resistance from rain, wind, and outside elements. Quick and simple assembly paired with a modular and portable design, allow the IMS1000 to be easily re-locatable and re-usable for many applications. Its construction is much stronger than traditional emergency tents and provides a more reliable and durable solution in crisis situations.
