Arctic employs two techniques in the manufacture of our walk-ins. For walk-in panels, Arctic permanently laminates a variety of metal finishes to solid-core board foam. This technique allows Arctic to build any size and dimension cost effectively. This process also enables Arctic to match cost efficient polystyrene insulation to a cooler application and urethane insulation to a freezer application with 4 in. or 6 in. thick panels. This is what Arctic terms "matching the insulation to the application." The Arctic customer is offered the most cost efficient means to meet their cold storage requirements. Arctic uses the foamed in place method of manufacturing walk-in cooler and freezer doors. This method enables Arctic to eliminate any structural wood in the door and permits Arctic to incorporate steel supports for the door hinges and high impact ABS plastic to reinforce the door and door frame. The Arctic door is one of the finest in the industry.

Arctic has a wide array of medium and low temperature air and water cooled refrigeration systems to meet your needs. We offer "user friendly" self-contained systems, top mount drop-in systems for indoor applications from 1/3 H.P. to 2 1/2 H.P., and ceiling or wall straddle mounted self-contained systems for outdoor use remote, pre-assembled Remote and pre-assembled Remotes with pre-charged lines are also available for indoor and outdoor applications from 1/3 H.P. to 23 H.P. Arctic normal temperature systems are standard with R-22 refrigerant and our low temperature systems are standard with 404A refrigerant.
